Hamilton Serbians is dedicated to upholding integrity in all aspects of our soccer programs, events and activities. Our executive and coaches tirelessly volunteer their time to ensure that: we deliver quality soccer programming, we are organized, and our club is in good standing with our governing organizations; Hamilton Soccer, Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer.
Hamilton Serbians is in progress to receive its ‘Quality Soccer Provider License’ which meets Canada Soccer Standards for all clubs in Canada. This mandates our club to provide developmentally appropriate, safe, enjoyable, accessible, inclusive and welcoming playing environments for all our participants!
For our community, we ensure you have access to information through social media news and club website resources. We also host annual fun events for families such as Easter egg hunt, outdoor movie nights, camp programs, and year end family picnics.
We value and maintain strong relations with many community sponsors and businesses to continue the growth of our club and our soccer program resources.
Hamilton Serbians also gives back to our community by donating to local fundraisers with focus on youth; and to families in need locally and abroad.
Hamilton Serbians takes player safety seriously. We ensure all persons working with our players are trained to provide safe soccer activities for player health and safety as a top priority under our care.
→ All teams have coaches that are fully certified by Ontario Soccer or coaching certification in process
→ All adults working directly with youth are screened with Criminal Records Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
→ Concussion protocols are taken seriously and any hit to the head means no return to field
→ Club policies established for Rule of Two, Code of Conduct, Zero Tolerance, Code of Conduct to Protect Children, Coaching policies for certification completion are all available for parents to access in Governance Section of our website
→ Our facilities are safe, well maintained and in good condition. We have a team of volunteers for field maintenance, contracts for professional field service maintenance opening/during/closing of outdoor season, coaches are vigilant to inspect fields prior to use at home fields and away
→ Adult volunteers, coaches working with children and all athletes will ensure all soccer activities are in the open for spectators to observe, Rule of Two is always upheld
Any action or behaviour deemed inappropriate that is observed or experienced, MUST BE REPORTED confidentially and in writing to: discipline@hsysc.org
All reports will be investigated by Hamilton Serbians Soccer Club Discipline Committee with every effort to protect the identity of the person making the claim, and to protect them from harm as a result of disclosing the incident.
Any act of retaliation by any members of Hamilton Serbians towards the person who makes a claim will not be tolerated and is in violation of Code of Conduct and Zero-Tolerance Policy.
