In 2022, the executive members of Hamilton Serbians Youth Soccer Club and Hamilton SNF Basketball rejoined to create a sports club alliance with the goal to expand sports programs for our youth within Hamilton & surrounding areas in Ontario Canada, under a new name: Hamilton Serbians Sports Club, HSSC.
This idea originated back in the 1980’s when the “Serbian Athletic Sports Association” was initiated by executive members of Hamilton Serbians Soccer and Hamilton SNF Basketball, under the direction of Tom Rusich. Members of the Association received a “membership card” which allowed them admission to games and other events. Over the years the association discontinued and each club amicably went on to govern themselves.
Today over 40 years later, our dedicated volunteers are extremely proud to bring the Hamilton sports community back together again to serve our youth and community, to create the best sports program experiences for all ages, and to host special events as a unified Hamilton Serbians Sports Club!
Our goal is for all players to learn new skills, develop positive friendships and have fun every year they come back to play!
The future of our community is built upon our youth. Our executive members mission is to strive for success in sports programming, to offer quality and safe sports facilities, and to build a legacy together within our community for all to enjoy.
Hamilton Serbians Sports Club currently offers:
- Soccer for ages 3 and up
- Little Eagles and Mini Eagles Academy, ages 3–7 year-old
- Grassroots Hamilton Soccer, ages U8-U12
- Hamilton Soccer League U13 and up
- Hamilton Serbians (since 1958) – Ontario Soccer League
- Old Timers Soccer
- Basketball for ages 5 and up
- Indoor Development programs
- Annual SNF Tournament participation
- Rep Programs
