Hamilton Serbians is dedicated to upholding integrity in all aspects of our soccer organization programs, events and activities – to keep children safe and respect for all.
Hamilton Serbians is compliant with the rules and regulations of our local Hamilton Soccer league, as equally of the Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer directives. We will not interact with unsanctioned organizations, unless approved by Ontario Soccer.
When resolving conflicts Hamilton Serbians executive members uphold respect for all, and adhere to the Ontario Soccer procedures in place for appropriate resolution.
Our volunteers, coaches, parents, and participants are supported by policies and procedures to inform, educate and hold members accountable for their actions and responsibilities.
Steps to Report Abuse:

∙If you witness inappropriate conduct? You must report in confidence to: discipline@hsysc.org See Page 4
∙If you witness illegal behaviours? Any illegal behaviour (ex. child sexual abuse) that you witness first-hand, must immediately be reported to police/or child welfare, or call 911. See Page 4
∙If you have suspicion of child abuse? This must also be reported to law enforcement. See Page 4
∙Anti-Bullying/Anti-Discrimination/Anti-Harrasment, See Page 4 in policy above
∙Being prepared to take action is the safest way to further prevent a serious injury.
∙All teams to designate a Call Person, Charge Person and alternates

∙A concussion is a brain injury and should be regarded as potentially serious.
∙Incorrect management of a concussion can lead to further injury.
∙Anyone with suspected concussion following an injury must be immediately removed from playing or training; and receive prompt assessment by a medical doctor or nurse practitioner.
∙Concussion symptoms must have completely resolved and documented medical clearance completed by a medical doctor or nurse practitioner must be received before resuming full contact practice or game play.
